A fiery redhead, named after a

brand of cowboy boots,

struggles mightily through life,

but overcomes it all.

Maybe that luck ain’t so bad, after all!

Nicci Boots got her start writing short stories in grade school, poems and newspaper articles in high school and college, then music reviews when she moved to Portland in 2006.

While navigating life she endured a truckload of trauma, so naturally she’s written a memoir, Bad Luck Boots, to share her incredible tale of survival with the world.

And now she’s following that publication up with two new and exciting novels!

Delevay Falls, a fictional tale of horror that highlights the beauty and madness of the PNW, and a soon-to-be titled collection of her essays detailing how Portland, Oregon saved her life.

She also plans to develop her plethora of scary story ideas into a bevy of horror masterpieces, so stay tuned for excerpts and details on those upcoming works.
